VANDIVER INN

The Vandiver Inn offers exclusive use of the entire mansion for weddings and events. The property has multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces with capacity for up to 170 guests. A full-service support team, including an event coordinator, manages planning and execution, and the year-round Pavilion provides air conditioning and heating.

The nightly manager's reception includes a complimentary glass of wine or beer. The on-site dining offers a made-to-order breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. Weekly themed dinner nights, known as Bite Nite events, showcase international cuisines.

The inn has 17 guest rooms across three adjacent Victorian homes: the Vandiver Mansion, Murphy House, and Kent House. Each room, such as the Wolbert, Tydings, and Rogers, offers unique decor and layouts. Accessible rooms have eco-fireplaces, and some rooms include balconies, spa baths, and kitchen facilities.

The inn is in Havre de Grace, within walking distance of the Chesapeake Bay waterfront and the Susquehanna River. Near the inn are the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum (13-minute walk) and the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum (1.1 km). Local golf courses, marinas, and historic downtown shops and restaurants are nearby.

The inn has a dog-friendly policy for small dogs with an added fee; crating is required when dogs are left alone and they are not allowed in the main house or porch. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and a concierge service assists with local recommendations. Additional amenities include free parking, a shared lounge and TV area, and meeting and banquet facilities.
